These egg shaped pods make brilliant dust bath stations for your hens. Dust bathing is an incredibly important activity for hens, not only does it keep them clean, it helps kept lice and mites at bay and they really enjoy it! Whenever hens feel the urge, they have a thorough ‘go’ in their dust baths and effectively ‘self-medicate’ against any parasites on their skin. The high quality plastic is strong, waterproof and easy to clean. Add a generous amount of diatomaceous earth or a mixture of diatomaceous earth and wood ash (from a log burner) for happy, healthy hens.
